Museum of Fine Art Boston - Foster & Partners Architecturally, the project echoes themes explored in the Reichstag and the Great Court at the British Museum, combining elements of old and new and strengthening links with the community by making the building more open and accessible. At the core of the masterplan for the museum is the restoration of the logic of its Beaux-Arts plan, devised by the architect Guy Lowell. The Principal Architect of 'atelier-bill' Architects was part of the design team based in Foster's Riverside studio up to the point the project team moved to Boston for the construction phase. The experience within Foster's Riverside studio instilled a strong sense of design and rigour into the process of design and detail found in the work of 'atelier-bill' Architects.
