The Principal of the creative Royal Institute of British Architect Chartered Practice 'atelier-bill' is a qualified architect. Prior to establishing this multidisciplinary practice they enjoyed extensive experience working in the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Japan and America. During this period they had the good fortune to spend time in the practices of some of the foremost Architects of our time including three RIBA Gold Medalists: Norman Foster & Partners, London; Richard Rogers Partnership Japan; Tadao Ando Architects, Japan; Stephen Holl, NY; Munkenbeck + Marshall, London; Mahlum Architects. This world-wide experience with the leading architects instilled a strong sense of design and passion towards creative architecture. Furthermore, whilst at University both Thesis and Dissertation projects focused on sustainable design, so whereas many suggest a market driven green wash, through academic research to the core of our work is a deep understanding of environmental needs. This no doubt provides 'atelier-bill' collaborative with the knowledge to put these pieces together to develop something both creative, of architectural interest and in turn exciting for the progressive amongst us. Since establishing 'atelier-bill' collaborative architects, one of our projects has been featured on Channel 4 in the 'Perfect Home' presented by Alain de Botton; additionally recently the Norwich Society described one of our schemes as, 'An outstanding modern design, worthy of inclusion in the Architectural Review.' The creative imagination of an Architect that has worked with some of the world's best architects and the passion and energy of a youthful office will ensure the best possible service provided to deliver the high standard of design Norwich should experience. Good design does not require large budgets, just good design sense, commitment from the Architects and an understanding to deliver to create a beautiful Architecture that lifts the human spirit.
